Providing occupational therapy services to K-12 students across multiple school districts in Eastern Colorado, this temporary leave contract offers a dynamic and impactful opportunity to support diverse caseloads in an itinerant role. The position runs from January 5, 2026, through March 23, 2026, with a 40-hour workweek dedicated to delivering quality therapy and collaborating closely with school staff and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring tailored to student needs.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with educators and families to support student success.
- Complete required paperwork and therapy planning with flexibility to perform some tasks remotely.
- Manage a varied caseload across multiple school districts including Burlington, Limon, Flagler, Woodrow, Hugo, Anton, and Karval.
- Provide in-person services onsite, ensuring direct support for students to enhance their educational performance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy, particularly within K-12 settings.
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple locations efficiently and effectively.
